Conscious Pharmacist uses two carefully selected locations in the sunny Algarve: a peaceful, nature-led setting in Almancil, near Loulé, and a comfortable retreat residence in the Portimão area. Both within 20 – 40 minutes from Faro International Airport.

Each brings something different to your experience. Both allow us to offer personal guidance in surroundings that feel removed from everyday demands.

We keep property names and exact addresses private out of respect for their owners and our guests. Practical location details are shared directly as part of your retreat arrangements.

Our Almancil setting brings together the ease of a country residence and the atmosphere of a dedicated retreat space.

Surrounded by greenery, it offers a welcoming environment for stepping away from familiar routines. Carefully considered interiors and outdoor spaces create a balance between comfort and connection with nature.

A separate, light-filled space provides a focused setting for guided sessions, reflection and appropriate movement. Elsewhere on the property, the pool and surrounding outdoor areas add to the relaxed residential atmosphere.

For a one-day retreat, this means you can spend the day in a setting that feels special without feeling formal — with personal guidance at the centre of the experience.

Portimão Area

The comfort of a residence. The space for a longer retreat.

Our Portimão-area setting offers a more residential estate retreat experience, with luxury accommodation and facilities that allow you to spend additional time resting and settling in.

Comfortable living spaces, a dedicated yoga and movement area, and outdoor places to pause provide different ways to spend the quieter parts of your stay.

For multi-day guests, the benefit is continuity: you can prepare, take part in your retreat and rest afterwards without immediately moving on to another accommodation.

What makes this setting special?

• A dedicated yoga and movement space, separate from everyday living areas.

• A large round shala surrounded by nature; ideal for psychedelic ceremonies.

Your retreat is personal. We treat it that way.

You may be taking time for yourself without wanting to explain your plans to colleagues, acquaintances or a wider audience.

Our approach is discreet. We do not publish the names or exact addresses of the properties we use, and we share practical arrival information directly with confirmed guests.

To protect the privacy of the locations and the people attending, we ask guests not to publish identifiable photographs of other participants or share property names, addresses or location tags without permission.

What does “private retreat” mean?

A private retreat means the retreat format and guidance are arranged for you, your partner or your own group.

It does not automatically mean that you have exclusive use of every building, outdoor area or facility on the property.

If complete property exclusivity is important to you, tell us before booking. We will explain what can be arranged and confirm the scope in your proposal.
